![]() I’ve continued to use that playlist to add songs I like from a variety of genres, while also building more genre-specific playlists. When Spotify sees songs added to playlists it seems to treat that in much the same way as a Like, giving you the best of both worlds - properly curated playlists and a well-trained Spotify. Once you’ve got a few decent playlists curated, you can use these to feed you new music that is aligned to your tastes. Select a playlist and then click the three-dots menu button and select Go To Playlist Radio. This will produce a bespoke playlist of songs that are in the same ballpark as the ones you already like. Better still, a unique playlist is generated every time you select that Radio option, so you can keep getting fresh music from that same playlist. Be specific with Spotify-enabled smart speakers And as the playlist grows and morphs, so does the Playlist Radio. If you want Alexa or Google Home devices to shuffle a playlist, you have to be precise with the terminology you use. “Alexa/OK Google, shuffle my playlist from Spotify.” To get a playlist properly shuffled, you have to say: Otherwise, you’ll find the speaker starts from the first song added to the playlist and works its way through in chronological order. ![]() It’s important to get “shuffle” right up front. The word “my” is also very important, as otherwise the smart speaker might confuse a generic playlist of the same name with one you’ve curated in your own library. ![]() On that note, it pays to be as specific and unique as possible with your playlist names to minimise the risk of confusion/unwanted substitution. The Spotify search engine is deceptively powerful. The lack of any ‘advanced search’ facility fools people into thinking it’s a basic artist/song search, but it can do much more than that.įor instance, you can search for specific genres, sub-genres, record labels and years of release. So, if like me, you’ve got a penchant for Britpop from 1995 to 1998 (my university years), you can type the following into the search engine:Īnd get a huge list of songs that match that search:Īrtist bios are a goldmine Barry Collins/Spotify What’s more, these terms can be combined to give you a set of results that perfectly match your tastes. With the launch of dynamic queue, Riot believes that teams consisting of players that have a high skill difference (this being the rank in solo-queue), and seems to be wanting a change. One of the less noticeable features of Spotify is the artist biographies, which you can find by clicking on any artist’s name and then selecting the About tab. I do not believe this is right, as there are so many casual players throughout the League community, and this "issue" seems to be targeted towards the competitive ones. Download musiQ - Social Music Queue and enjoy it on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. There are so many people that, while they do not like solo-queue, want to climb the ladder as a team. Use musiQ to host a single, central music playlist from one device that anyone, anywhere in the world can add their favorite songs to in real time. musiQ is perfect for parties, road trips, or group events, and users can choose from the full catalogs of both Spotify and Youtube. Therefore, as dynamic queue restricts the ability to play with people in solo-queue divisions far apart from yours, it at the same time limits you to play as a group of friends, in the case that someone has a drastically different rank than your own. I want Riot to understand that there are so many different players within the League community, and that some of us like playing it as a group of friends, and not tryharding with randoms. ![]() 1 ) Before the party: Queue makes the invite experience as smooth as possible. Hello, as of yesterday, I haven't been able to search for any explicit tracks to add to the queue within a party, I normally make a party and then send the link to a music request group and have roughly about 4-6 people join via the link. I believe those who want to play as 5v5 premade in ranked should be able to. Everybody has attended a party where nobody knew who and how many were actually coming. With Queue, the host just fill in details about the party (date, location etc.) and share a unique party link for guests to join. And then a guest list will automatically be. I also believe that people who want to play solo queue should go for it. But I do not think it is a good idea to throw people that have different enjoyments about the game into one big system.
